    Terms and Conditions

    Reward Point Program

     
    1. Each member must show the membership card to the cashier before each purchase transaction is made. Failure to do so will result in the points from the purchase amount will not be credited to the member’s account.

    2. Every 1 Ringgit spent (excluding any payable statutory tax) in Midas Mart and its affiliate outlets shall be converted into 1 point.

    3. Point expiry date: 31st December of the following year from the year the points are collected. e.g. Point for purchases made in 2020 will expire on 31st December 2021.

    4. The points collection entitlement in Midas Membership system is final and no further correspondence will be entertained.

    5. Points collected are not transferable, assignable, and/ or not for sale to any other persons.

    6. The Principal holder of the Mm Card is required to produce his/her Mm Card and Identity Card or Passport for any redemption purposes.

    7. Members are advised to keep the payment receipt of each transaction made as a reference if there is any discrepancy in the points collection.
     

    General

     
    1. Midas Membership card (Mm Card) is a property and issued by Midas Merge Sdn Bhd. We reserve the right at any time to amend, alter, and or make changes to the terms of the program operations, or terminate the program without prior notice.

    2. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right to cancel and/or withdraw all benefits from the member if it is found to have manipulation in the collection of points and/or refuse, withdraw, or terminate, if necessary, Mm Card's membership at any time without notice and the points in the member's account will be invalid and canceled automatically.

    3. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right to refuse or coordinate the balance of the collection of points of each member and or prevent from redeeming the prize or withdraw the prize award in the event of the following matters:
      1. Suspected of fraud or error in recording the points.
      2. The points have been canceled or a refund has been granted.

    4. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right at any time, confirming and changing the points collected by members in case of incorrect entry of points in the event of the event.

    5. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right to use related information in the database for marketing purposes.

    6. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right, at any time, to change the structure or condition of the collection of points, or amend the points redemption criteria.

    7. All decisions by Midas Merge Sdn Bhd are final and any correspondence will not be entertained.

    8. In the event of any difference and/or conflict in translation, the English text shall be given priority.

    9. All the information displayed is just a preview of the artist. Every reasonable care step has been taken in the preparation of these terms and conditions. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any incorrect information in these terms and conditions.

    10. The Mm card is not transferable.

    11. The Mm card is applicable for usage at the affiliate outlets (Ji-Mart, SMART Bee Grocer, V-Fresh, Sadim, KF Wholesale, P&M Poultry, and over 60 retail outlets in S’MART Pandan) subject to the outlets’ terms and conditions.
     

    Membership (Gold, Platinum & Black)

     
    1. MM card is a membership identification card for the reward program for Midas Mart and its affiliate outlets. It is not a credit card, a payment card or a discount card.

    2. The Mm card may not be proprietary and exclusive for the use of any member.

    3. Each member must be 16 years old and above with a valid identity card or passport.

    4. The Mm card is required to be renewed annually with a fee of RM10.00 to enable the accumulation of points and benefits to continue.

    5. The Membership will be renewed automatically for members with a minimum of 2500 points in his/her account. 2500 points will be deducted from the account and no additional fee is required for the renewal. The eligible members will be notified either through SMS or email. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd shall not bear any responsibility for messaging (SMS) failure and/or late arrival. The Principal holder of the Mm card shall check the status of membership at Midas Mart Customer Service Counter if they did not receive any SMS notification during the expiry period of the membership.

    6. A replacement fee of RM10.00 will be charged to the member in the event of loss, theft, or damage to the card.

    7. Category of Midas Member Class:
      1. Gold Card: For household member; exclusive access to Blue Parking
      2. Platinum Card: For business operator (with a monthly average purchase of RM1,800); exclusive access to Diamond Parking
      3. Black Card: Solely by invitation only based on customer’s monthly purchase (Entitlement is given at Midas Merge Sdn Bhd own discretion
      4. Midas Merge Sdn Bhd reserves the right to downgrade and/or upgrade its member class subject to the monthly purchase in Midas Mart and or its affiliate outlets.

      Q1. What is Midas Membership Card (Mm Card)?  
    A. The Mm Card is a membership and reward program managed by Midas Merge Sdn. Bhd. By using Mm Card & eCard, you earn points and rebates when you shop at Midas Mart outlets, selected MM Rewards Programme Partners, Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART, redeem cash rebate with points, enjoy specially priced items, merchant discounts, and special member promotions.
     
      Q2. How do I sign up Midas Membership?  
    A. You may sign up for an Mm Card at Midas Mart Info Counter or any cashier in affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART) with the charges of RM10/year. For E-card sign up, you may download our “MIDAS MART” apps from Apple or Android App Store, and then call our Customer Service Centre to active the card by making a payment of RM10/year.
     
      Q3. What is the registration fee and validity for Midas Membership?  
    A. The registration fee for Midas Membership is RM10.00 with a validity date of one (1) year.
     
      Q4. What are the benefits that I enjoy when I apply or renew my Mm Card?  
    A. As a Midas Member,
    a. You will enjoy 100 points collection whenever you signed up / renew,
    b. 365 days promotions for selected items,
    c. 1 point collection for every RM1 spend
    d. RM10 cash rebate for every 2,500 points redemption,

      Q5. How will I check the expiration of my current Mm Card?  
    A. You may proceed to Midas Mart Info Counter, Self-Kiosks (in front of Business Centre at S’MART Pandan) or any cashier in affiliate outlets (Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART) for Mm Card expiration check.
     
      Q6. How do I earn Mm Points?  
    A. You may present your Mm Card when you make any purchase at Midas Mart, affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART) and selected store at S’MART Pandan.
     
      Q7. Can I exchange my Mm Points for a cash rebate?  
    A. Yes. Every 2,500 Mm Points is equivalent to RM10.00 cash rebate.
     
      Q8. Can I still earn Mm Points if I do not have my Mm Card with me while shopping at Midas Mart, and affiliate outlets (SMART Bee Grocer & JI-MART).  
    A. No. You are required to show Mm Card or Midas e-Store Card (Upgraded to Gold and above) in order to collect Mm Points at Midas Mart, and affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART).
     
      Q9. I have accumulated more than 30,000 Mm Points and would like to convert them into cash rebate. How should I proceed from this?  
    A. You may visit and spend at Midas Mart, and any affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART). Inform the cashier of your cash rebate redemption request. Our cashier will proceed with the redemption for 30,000 points = RM120 after you have provided him/her with your NRIC or pin (e-store user). You are only required to pay for the balance of the current purchase amount. The purchase amount must be higher than the amount to be redeemed.
     
      Q10. I want to transfer my Mm Points to my friend/ family. Is it possible?  
    A. As stated in our Terms & Conditions. Mm Points are not transferable. However, you may provide a relevant document as a support documents due to unforeseen circumstances and the decision of Midas Mart Management is final.
     
      Q11. How can I identify/recognize the participating store that offers instant privilege to Mm MEMBERS when I shop at S’MART Pandan?  
    A. The store will have a signboard with Mm Logo and member card. Please refer to this list of shops for your reference:

      Q12. How can I identify/recognize specially priced items for Mm Card Member?  
    A. Look out for the Special Member Promotion price tag/ sign.
     
      Q13. Can Mm Points be shared between the Principal and Supplementary Cards?  
    A. Yes. The Mm Points earned by the Principal and Supplementary Cards can be accumulated and shared since they are considered as a single account.
     
      Q14. Is there any expiry date for the accumulation of Mm Points?  
    A. Yes. It will expire in the following year from the year the points were accumulated. The points which were accumulated in 2020, shall be expired on 31 Dec 2021. Example, 300 points earned on 15th Jan 2020 will be expired on 31st Dec 2021.
     
      Q15. How do I check my latest Mm Card Point balance?  
    A. You may visit any Midas Mart Info Counter, Self-Kiosks (in front Business Centre @ S’MART) or any cashier in affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART), login to Midas e-Store for points balance check or call our Info Counter at 07-352 8206 by providing your NRIC No.
     
      Q16. How do I get a replacement for my lost Mm Card and do I have to pay for the card replacement?  
    A. You can get a replacement card at any Midas Mart Info Counter or any cashier in affiliate outlets (Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART) by showing your Identification Card (IC) and a replacement fee of RM10.00.
     
      Q17. How do I renew my Mm Card?  
    A. Your Mm Card shall be auto-renewed for one (1) year upon expiry (ie. ≥2,500 points) in your Mm Card. You will receive an SMS 2 weeks before the card expiry for the Mm Card auto-renewal. If not you can renew your Mm Card earlier (before expiry) at Midas Mart Info Counter or any cashier in affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART) with a fee of RM10.00 for one (1) year renewal.
     
      Q18. Can I use my Midas Membership Points to redeem one (1) year membership renewal?  
    A. Yes, you must possess at least 2,500 points prior to your card expiration. 2,500 points will be deducted by Auto-renewal which equivalent to RM10.00 for one (1) year membership renewal.
     
      Q19. What is auto-renewal?  
    A. Auto-renewal is a membership renewal system that deducting 2,500 points for one (1) year renewal to ease Midas Members to avoid unnecessary traditional renewal steps and prevent unpleasant shopping experience whenever card expiration during payment.
     
      Q20. If I renew my membership before the date of expiry, what will the next expiry date be?  
    A. The expiry date of your renewed membership will follow the same month and day as your current Mm Card. For example, if the expiry date of your current Mm Card is 14th Dec 2021, the expiry date of your renewed Mm Card shall be 14th Dec 2022.
     
      Q21. I’d signed up as a Midas Member at the Midas Mart Pandan. Am I able to renew my Mm Card at any other Midas Mart outlet?  
    A. Yes, besides Midas Mart Info Counter you are most welcome to renew your Mm Card at Midas Mart @Mart or any affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART).
     
      Q22. I’m a Supplementary Cardholder. Can I renew the membership on behalf of my Principal Card Member?  
    A. Yes, you can.
     
      Q23. Is it possible to renew my Mm Card online?  
    A. At the moment, online renewal is not available.
     
      Q24. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I would like to terminate my Supplementary Midas Member. Is it possible and what should I do?  
    A. As an Mm Principal Cardholder, you have the right to terminate the supplementary Midas Membership at any time by visiting Midas Mart Info Counter and providing us your NRIC.
     
      Q25. I recently moved to a new residence. How do I update my personal details?  
    A. You may update your personal details at any Midas Mart Info Counter or any cashier in affiliate outlets (i.e. Smart Bee Grocer & JI-MART), update via Midas Mart E-Store, or call our Info Counter at 07-352 8206.
